Excessive weight and obesity is usually cased by wrong eating habits and a sedentary lifestyle. Poor eating habits lead to an accumulation of fats and other toxins in our body and help to reduce our fitness and efficiency at work. A healthy balanced diet consists of large helpings of fruits, vegetables, cereals, pulses and poultry, fish and meat products. The Atkins plan proposes limited intake of carbohydrates, the Mediterranean plan lays emphasis on vegetables, dairy, and olive oil along with fish and poultry products. Volumetrics eliminates all packaged foods and sugar/fat-based items and promotes fiber rich diet. Sugar Busters excludes calorie rich food and sugar.

Most people realize the benefits of a good diet after the damage has already been done. This is either due to lack of knowledge or lack of willpower. Bad lifestyle such as fried foods, carbonated soft drinks has become a part of our life since early childhood. Chips, salted peanuts, burgers, ice creams, pastries, coke, etc. might be great for the taste buds but they wreck havoc on the body.

A healthy snack between meals boosts the metabolism and controls hunger pangs. And the most important idea is never to go on a crash diet. This kind of dieting is disastrous for the body especially the eyes, kidney and hair get affected after a short period.

If there are Safe Weight Loss Pills how effective are they? And if they are effective at what expense will they be in your future? And do they carry any side effects? Are they worth the risk? And for what time period can you take them without the advice of your physician? And last ask yourself what you are going to do that will keep you healthy after you stop your dependency on those Safe Weight Loss Pills?

More than three decades ago many women became addicted to the infamous slimming pill, amphetamine. The effects were minimal in terms of losing weight and had some undesirable side effects that were related to heart disease.

Also there are appetite reducing pills such as dexfenfluramine which forces you to eat less food. Those pills are not as effective as advertised and also produced side effects related to heart disease.
